1. Introduction

Welcome to Carelinc+. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform, website, and services. By accessing or using Carelinc+, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Carelinc+ operates as a marketplace connecting aged care and NDIS participants ("Clients") with verified support workers ("Workers"). We facilitate connections but do not directly employ Workers or provide care services ourselves.

2. Eligibility

To use Carelinc+, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts. Workers must hold valid Australian qualifications, police checks, and any required NDIS Worker Screening Clearances. Clients must have a valid NDIS plan, aged care package, or private funding arrangement.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Worker Verification

Carelinc+ performs identity verification and police checks on Workers. However, we do not guarantee the quality of care provided. Clients are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence, including interviews and reference checks, before engaging a Worker.

5. Bookings & Payments

Bookings are made through the platform. Hourly rates are set by Workers and displayed transparently. Carelinc+ charges a platform fee on each transaction. Payment processing is handled by our secure third-party payment provider.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee. Disputes regarding payment or service quality will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Insurance & Liability

Workers are required to maintain appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Carelinc+ is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from care services provided by Workers, except where required by law.

7. Confidentiality & Data

All personal and health information shared on the platform must be handled in accordance with Australian privacy laws. Workers must not disclose client information to third parties without consent.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not: harass, discriminate, or abuse others; provide false information; attempt to circumvent platform fees; use the platform for illegal purposes; or share account access with unauthorized persons.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a safety risk, or engage in fraudulent activity. Users may close their account at any time by contacting support.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be notified via email or platform notice.
